The 90s nostalgia continues: Crash Bandicoot is returning to Playstation. The original Crash Bandicoot, Crash 2 and Crash: Warped are being remastered for the Playstation 4, Sony confirmed.
The announcement was made at Sony’s E3 2016 press conference. The Crash reboots are being developed in partnership with Activision, the owner of the Crash Bandicoot license.
Sony President Shawn Layden also revealed Crash will feature in the upcoming Skylanders Imaginators game. Take a look at the trailer below:
Unfortunately we aren’t receiving a brand-new Crash Bandicoot, but the originals are iconic for a reason. They’re fun as hell, and should become even more so with revamped graphics and perhaps a couple new features. That being said, everyone remain calm and form an orderly line once these new Crash games arrive.
When will that be? We don’t know yet – there’s no confirmed release date for the remastered Crash Bandicoot games, but we’ll update you as soon as we find out.
