The Crew 2 takes you back to the Land of the Rising Sun this week, and is good news for those who want to be a samurai. Take your katanas out as the LIVE Summit is all about the Road Samurai. This begins on March 18 and ends on March 24.
For this week, the Road Samurai bundle has a lot to offer players, six vehicles! If you’re new to The Crew 2, these vehicles are the ones you need in order to complete all the Road Samurai events. This week's vehicles are:
- Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X (SR)
- Nissan Fairlady Z 432 (PS30) (SR)
- Nissan 370Z Nismo Drift Edition (DF)
- Nissan 370Z (Z34) Drag Race Edition (DR)
- Skyline GT-R (R34) Touring Car Edition (TC)
- Suzuki GSX-R1000R (SR)
For this week, you should prioritize your skills for Speedtrap. In this one, players need to get as much speed before going past a camera that records the speed. The good thing about this event is that it can be played with any car. If a speed is considered "too low" then it's not recorded. In addition, if you crash into something while the speed is being recorded, it won't be counted as well.
This week's events also include Escape, where players need to get away from an ever expanding red circle. It's not just driving away though, as players also need to beat a set target.
So what's in store for this week's LIVE Summit? Here's what you get if you win:
- Platinum: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Black Knight Special Edition (SR)
- Gold: 3 Power Boat Parts
- Silver: Full Visual Part Set Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X
- Bronze: 400k FOLLOWERS
In addition to the LIVE Summit, there is also a new vehicle promotion this week. The Street King bundle is available at 25% off and includes the Ferrari 458 Speciale (HC), Audi R8 Coupé V10 plus (SR), and the BMW Z4 sDrive35is Drift Edition (DF).
In The Crew 2, the LIVE Summit is a PvE event that features themed activities and is updated on a weekly basis. Players who participate in this summit have a chance at winning various tiered prizes depending on where they are positioned on the leaderboard. The LIVE Summit also generally offers three different skill events along with five racing events. What makes the LIVE Summit unique is that the racing events often require players to drive vehicles in a different style than what was intended. For example, players may be required to use a street racing motorbike for a hypercar event.
