Cyberpunk 2077’s release date may be announced as soon as 2017. CD Projekt RED confirmed during an 2015 financial results conference that the game will launch on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC within the next four years, according to DualShockers.
During the call, CD Projekt RED confirmed plans to launch two new titles: Cyberpunk 2077 and another “AAA RPG.” Cyberpunk 2077 will likely launch first as rumors from late 2015 claimed the gaming studio was almost ready for a 2016 release . Unfortunately, CD Projekt RED offered no details about the mysterious AAA RPG, but did tease new information about Cyberpunk 2077.
“Cyberpunk 2077 is a ‘huge game,’ with a magnitude ‘much greater’ than The Witcher, and the studio has ‘amazingly large ambitions’ for it,” according to DualShockers.
CD Projekt RED Studio Head Adam Badowski also emphasized that the company is heavily invested in making Cyberpunk 2077, and wants to create “even better, even bigger, even more revolutionary” games in the future.
