A small batch of Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City screens were released by Bandai Namco roughly three weeks before the game’s final expansion debuts, featuring enemies and locations from the last Ringed City trailer. But there are also some new surprises included in this week’s Dark Souls 3 screens – surprises you might not want to see if you’re trying to avoid The Ringed City spoilers before launch day.
From what we can tell, there aren’t any major plot spoilers in the new Dark Souls 3 screenshots, but half the fun of Soulsborne games is slowly unraveling the mysteries of the world around you. Many players don’t want anything but need-to-know information about new Dark Souls games or expansions; a line of questioning that usually starts and ends with “Does it work?” And since screenshots don’t tell you anything about game performance/stability, the seven new Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City screens are as problematic as last month's gameplay trailer ; a four minute clip that featured several bosses from the upcoming expansion.
