The multiverse in DC Universe Online is collapsing, and at the center of it all appears to be Themysciras. This has resulted in the Wonderverse calling on the help of five Wonder Women to fix things. In the middle of all this, it seems that Circe and Cheetah are planning to join the mayhem.
Circe’s Panthemonium is a new mission that can be found from a statue in Patchwork Themyscira’s hub. After that, players need to battle World Bosses that include Murk, Ares, Athena, and even Steppenwolf/Kalibak. While players are fighting each boss, Circe is going to arrive somewhere on the battlefield. Be careful since players may find themselves surrounded by Bestiamorphs. Destroying the Bestiamorphs that Circe summons will reward players with new feats and a title.
For those who stay clear of the larger battles and Circe, Cheetah is somewhere in the shadows over in Patchwork Themyscira. Players need to find her and stop her plans and, in return, get a new feat and title.
Wonderverse is Episode 38 of DC Universe Online. It was launched on July 30 and offers, among many others, new daily and weekly Open World Missions. You can learn more about that here.
Help Extra Life
DC Universe Online announced last week that it was continuing its annual tradition of supporting Extra Life. For those not familiar, Extra Life is a charitable organization which unites gamers worldwide in order to play games in support of their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. The group was established in 2008 and since then has managed to raise at least $70 million for sick and injured kids.
For this year, the DC Universe Online Extra Life Team said in a post that they hope to raise $20,000. So far the team has managed to raise more than $4,000. For those interested in helping out, DCUO shared that all that needs to be done is to join their “livestream hijinks and, again, make sure you check out the incentives our developers have available.” It started on October 9 and is happening every Friday until Extra Life’s National Game Day, which is on November 7.
After Wonderverse, DC Universe Online is going to launch “Long Live the Legion” in November. This is Episode 39 and has players go to the 31st Century to meet with the Legion of Super-Heroes.
