Patch 6.0.0 or the Roots of Dread Update for Dead by Daylight is now available on the official servers. This update introduces the new horrifying killer called the Dredge and a new survivor named Haddie Kaur.
The Roots of Dread Update also features a new map known as the Garden of Joy, found in the Withered Isle realm and is owned by the leader of The Fold, Otto Stamper.
Aside from that, Dead by Daylight turns six this month, and to celebrate this milestone, developer Behaviour Interactive will host a limited-time event called the Twisted Masquerade on June 16 at 11 a.m. EST.
Players can earn new cosmetic masks by hunting down pedestals in the Trial and grabbing the invitations to the Twisted Masquerade. There are 12 masks that players can collect, but they’re only available for the original members of Dead by Daylight, such as:
- The Artist
- The Huntress
- The Spirit
- The Trapper
- The Trickster
- Deathslinger
- Ace Visconti
- Dwight Fairfield
- Elodie Rakoto
- Jane Romero
- Michaela Reid
- Yui Kumura
