Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is adding a new fighter – Mai Shiranui of The King of Fighters . DOA has always been known for its cast of curvy woman, and Shiranui sure fits the bill. She’s been around since 1992, when she made her debut in Fatal Fury 2 .
Mai Shiranui will be available in King Of Fighters XIV in August and will be in DOA 5 for the PlayStation 4 in September. The announcement came at the Dead Or Alive Festival in Japan on Saturday, where there was a DOA 5 tournament for some of the best players in Japan to go head-to-head in front of a room filled with adoring fans. Dead or Alive was never really a franchise I fell in love with. The fighting games always seemed inferior to the likes of Tekken or Street Fighter and it’s really hard for me to play a game just because of the boob physics. I’m not knocking on boob physics though, some of my best memories involved X-Play segments about Dead Or Alive: Beach Volleyball .
