The recent Destiny 2 weekly blog post is much tamer than last week's. Anyway, Bungie is inviting the community to celebrate the "Gjallardays," which runs from November 23 to December 7.
The Gjallardays
It is no surprise that the infamous Gjallarhorn will make its debut in Destiny 2 on December 7. It can be yours if you purchase the 30th Anniversary Pack.
Bungie is celebrating its arrival by giving you new products and discounts at the Bungie Store. You can expect the following:
- New products
- Emblem with purchase
- Gjallardays sale
- 10% storewide discount One Day only Black Friday
- 50% off soundtracks One Day only Cyber Monday
- Gifts of Gjallardays: Check back daily for free gifts!
New Bungie Rewards are up for grabs as well. You can get the “Share a Glass” emblem, for example, if you finish the Vault of Glass raid carrying 10 players who have not completed it yet.
It is worth noting that if you claim the Eternal Recurrence Exotic Sparrow, you become eligible to purchase the Techeun Hoodie. If you completed the Master Cartographer Triumph, you will also be qualified to buy the Year of Beyond Light coin set.
Upcoming DLC
If you want the Gjallarhorn once it becomes available, you must buy the 30th Anniversary Pack. Keep in mind that it is deemed as DLC, not as part of the current season’s content.
That said, you need to remember that DLC licenses are only accessible on the platform they were purchased on. So regardless of your cross-play setup, you’ll have to buy individual 30th Anniversary Packs if you plan on playing on multiple platforms.
Known Errors
Have you been experiencing FPS drops lately? Apparently, Rutabaga errors have been popping up recently and the developers are currently investigating the matter.
Another known issue is that some players may appear as invisible or visually loading much longer than they should.
Also, importing your friends for Bungie Friend may not be possible on some platforms. That is because an error can occur that prevents you from completing the process at this time. Hopefully, these issues will be addressed soon.
