This Diablo IV Legendary farming guide helps players in trying to loot better gear for their characters. Steam, Blizzard

Diablo IV is Blizzard's highly popular action role-playing game that features a ton of items with varying levels of rarity that supplement your characters' fighting styles.

There are a lot of different types of equipment that you can find and one of the best are Legendary items that offer massive power. But actually farming these equipment can sometimes be a grind.

Fortunately, this guide aims to help players become more efficient in trying to loot better gear for their characters to fight the hordes of monsters in Sanctuary.

This is particularly geared towards higher-level players who have already reached level 50, completed the campaign, and progressed to World Tier 3.

Farming Legendary and Unique Items

The first thing you should know is that there are four main ways of farming for Legendary and Unique gear in Diablo IV. These are; Helltides, Whispers, Nightmare Dungeons, and Murmuring Obols, according to Rock Paper Shotgun.

Which method you actually go with depends on various factors as well as your own preference and playstyle.

The two ways that are considered generally the best ways to farm better gear are Helltides and Whispers because they let you target farm for specific types of gear that you want.

Farming Locations

There are many areas that you can use for farming Legendary and Unique gear in Diablo IV, including the Frozen Tunnel Cellar, the Ancient Syphon World Event, and Anica's Claim. All of these can be used to farm amazing loot.

Another area that is worth noting is the Fields of Hatred, which is a PvP area for higher-level players. It also features a higher Elite spawn rate compared to other areas, which would sometimes make it easier to find better gear.

An Alternative Way

While the aforementioned methods are generally considered the most efficient ways of farming Legendary and Unique items in Diablo IV, there are also other alternatives. One of these is Treasure Goblins.

These creatures are guaranteed to drop Legendary gear after you have surpassed level 35. However, their spawns are unpredictable, which means that you won't actually be "farming" them per se, said PCInvasion.

Farming Events

Grinding Public Events in Helltide areas on Nightmare difficulty is one of the ways to get more Legendary and Unique items. They feature chests that have a high chance of dropping Legendaries and will also drop Obols and Aberrant Cinders.

These two resources can be used to acquire even more items from Curiosity vendors and Tortured Gift Chests around Helltide areas. Both of these give players a chance at getting Legendary and Unique gear, according to GameRant.
