Dissidia Final Fantasy NT released its latest update which adds a new rank. With the addition of this new rank, the game also added a new battle.
Through this update, the Ultima Class has been added, which is a rank higher than the Crystal Class. However, this is only for Online battles so if you're only doing Offline Battles then you won't be able to get it.
With the Ultima Class, Ultima Battles are also going to be implemented. This particular battle has special rules in place. Only the best fighters from the Crystal Rank A can be chosen to participate. In order for Ultima Battle to occur, all six players need to be in the Ultima Class. In addition, players that are ranked Ultima E or higher can form a party and then join a match with party members where all members come from the same Ultima class.
The only other change that arrived with the update is related to the disconnection penalty. This particular change is going to be applied to members from the six-player briefing screen instead of the three-player briefing screen.
Exclusive Player Icon
The Exclusive Player Icon Campaign for Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is still ongoing. It started on January 9 and is scheduled to end on February 6. While the campaign is ongoing, players can earn exclusive player icons on the results screen for each battle they participate in. This offers is only eligible for these modes: ranked matches, custom matches, gauntlet mode, sparring matches, and story battles.
