Season 10 of The Division 2 is now available and it’s about the Price of Power. It’s available on all platforms and for players who have the Warlords of New York expansion or are subscribed to Ubisoft+.
The Price of Power starts with a new Manhunt for General Peter Anderson. In the wake of Antwon Ridgeway’s fall, Anderson has stepped in and taken leadership of the True Sons. It seems that Anderson is working with a team from Black Tusk to take down The Division. That means players need to go through that team if they want to get the General.
New Difficulties
The Division 2 team revealed that they've received feedback concerning the difficulty level. In Season 10, players can now choose between these difficulties:
- Normal
- Can be completed solo.
- Hard
- Designed for groups of 8 casual players.
- Challenging
- Current difficulty available at release designed for a group of 8 matchmade players.
- This can be completed by a team of 2 to 4 hardcore players.
- Heroic
- Best suited for 4 to 8 hardcore players.
New Exotic Weapons
Players can also look forward to two new exotic weapons. The first one is Doctor Home, an exotic variation of the M1A QCB Rifle. When players shoot an enemy with Doctor Home, it applies a mark. When killed, the marked target drops a 15% Armor repair kit. The kit doesn't give bonus armor and it can only be seen by the weapon owner. Once picked up, all party members get the heal.
The second is Busy Little Bee, an exotic pistol inspired by Lightning Rod. Each shot to a different target gives the weapon one stack, for a maximum of 10. Each stack gives a 20% weapon damage increase. The stacks activate once the weapon is switched and lasts for 10 seconds. Changing weapons again during the said 10 seconds cancels the buff.
Legendary Difficulty Strongholds
In Season 10, players can challenge themselves and their builds versus Legendary Difficulties, which are available for Strongholds Tidal Basin and Manning National Zoo. While it’s indeed a tough challenge, it’s also a chance to help other agents perfect their setup. It can even be looked at as a good team-building exercise.
