OG is all set to expand its horizon by forming a CS:GO team. The new roster is said to be managed by two-time champions of the Dota 2 The International tournament, namely, Johan “N0tail” Sundstein and Sébastien “Ceb” Debs.
Interestingly, there have been rumors, which have been circulating for months now, about OG’s potential move into CS:GO. Now, official documents found in public records suggest that this move is finally happening. What is more, two of the team’s professional Dota 2 players are expected to lead the charge.
It is worth noting that the new company, which has already been listed as “OG CS:GO,” is not necessarily a direct branch of the main team. Rather, it will likely work as a daughter company to the parent organization. As for the official listings, they were reportedly filed on November 5 in Denmark.
Moreover, the forms list both N0tail and Ceb as directors and owners of the aforementioned organization. Apparently, no conflict of interest is expected to exist with both of these players owning the organization. That is simply because the two of them are not really actively competing in CS:GO. They are, however, confirmed to be working in other capacities and responsibilities outside of serving as players.
Over the last month or so, rumors have suggested that OG’s very first CS:GO team will include the French player Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt. Right now, though, there has yet to be a confirmation.
As of this writing, the information relating to the CS: GO roster is nothing but pure speculation. As such, it is best to take it with a grain of salt. But considering the fact that the listings do exist, it is expected from OG to officially announce the formation of the team in the near future. Fans and players alike should also expect a full roster reveal when that time comes.
