A new trailer for Dragon Quest Heroes 2, the highly-anticipated sequel to Omega Force’s first slime-filled musou title, introduces fans to three members of the game’s roster. The new clip doesn’t include much information about DQH2 , or even the heroes we’ll see when the game debuts next month, but who really needs an excuse to procrastinate on Friday morning?
The new trailer, part of an ongoing series spotlighting the Dragon Quest Heroes 2 roster, features brief looks at Healix, Lazarel and Teresa. All three are newcomers to the Dragon Quest Heroes series, though only two actually seem to be playable. Players choose either Teresa or Lazarel as their own avatar, though both warriors remain in the party, and Square Enix says the flying slime accompanying them fills the role of “helpful healing slimekick.” The first entry in Square Enix’s new video series also features an early look at Teresa and Lazarel’s movesets, including each character’s unique special attack. The new Dragon Quest Heroes 2 trailer also features some of the game’s other characters; heroes we’ll presumably meet in future DQH2 trailers.
For an early look at Healix, Lazarel and Teresa, take a few minutes to watch this week’s Dragon Quest Heroes 2 trailer. Then head down to the comments section and let us know if there are any Dragon Quest characters you hope to see in DQH2 when it hits North America next month.
Dragon Quest Heroes 2 is in development for PS4 and Switch. The game debuts April 25.
