A new mode is coming to Dying Light 2 Stay Human tomorrow, April 27. Dubbed as New Game +, it’s available to those who finished the base game.
The NG+ mode allows players to revisit The City and give them the chance to relive the story and see what happens when they make different decisions from the initial playthrough. It will not be easy since the revisit has a new scaling and higher difficulty. However, the bonuses are better.
Going back to NG+, players keep the progression of their initial run. There are other new features that players can look forward to in this new mode.
For example, players should find 30 new inhibitors, hidden in not so obvious places, to maximize their characters’ health and stamina. In addition, enemies scale their difficulty to the current level of Aiden. Those looking for more challenging skirmish will experience it in encounters with golden marks. What makes these encounters a real challenge is that they’re filled with special enemies having diverse forms.
There’s also a new quest called Something Big Has Been Here. In this one, watch out for the mutated, infected, and new attacks.
These new challenges and encounters reward players with greater “Legendary” weapon rarity and valuable items. Players who want to collect titles over the prizes can try to get the new platinum medal for parkour challenges based on the gamers' best results.
New Update
In addition to the new mode, there’s also Update 1.3.0, which fixes many co-op issues and offers new endgame content. Those on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X can try out the FOV slider feature, which allows them to change perspective.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human is a sequel to Dying Light. In the game, players visit the City, the last stronghold of mankind in the fight against the virus. Gameplay shifts through a day and night cycle, so players can try to plunder abandoned lairs of infected at night and learn the dark secrets of those in power by day.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human was released in February 2022 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
