EA Access has been a service that started slow, but is now offering a ton of great value. While only Xbox One users have been able to utilize the service, all that has changed with today's launch of Origin Access. Origin Access is very similar to EA Access service, but now for PC gamers.
This news comes to us via the official Origin website.
Just like the EA Access service on Xbox One, Origin Access will grant subscribers unlimited access to any of the games currently found in the Origin Access Vault. Currently there are 14 EA games offered in the Vault, with more getting added all the time.
Also like EA Access, Origin Access subscribers will also have access to pre-release trials of new games as well as getting 10% all purchases through Origin, including full versions of games and DLC.
Interestingly enough, Origin Access will also give subscribers full access to other games not published by EA. Right now, subscribers can play the full release of This War of Mine, for example. It should be noted that Origin Access is only compatible with Windows PC right now, and will not work for Mac or Linux users.
Origin Access is also currently only available in America, Germany, Canada, and the U.K. More countries are said to be coming soon.
A full list of Origin Access games is as follows:
- Battlefield 4
- Dragon Age: Inquisition
- Battlefield Hardline
- Battlefield 3
