Electronic Arts announced that EA Sports FC 24 is launching worldwide on September 29. Serving as the cover star for the game is Manchester City and Norway striker Erling Haaland. The game is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
The early access will start September 22 through the Ultimate Edition. Those who pre-order by August 22 can enjoy different benefits like an untradeable UEFA Champions League Ultimate Team Hero item in November.

In a statement, EA revealed that during Erling Haaland's winning season with Manchester City, he had a record number of goals scored. This made him the clear choice to bring in a new era in the long history of EA Sports. After all, those who have been chosen as cover stars are individuals who defined the peak of football talent, in-game or real life.
Haaland shared that footballers dream of being a cover star and the first time he held the cover in his hands, the first thing that came to his mind was imagining if he could show this to his own self 10 years ago. He went on to say that he hopes this serves as an inspiration to the next generation to believe in themselves to reach their dreams.
