The Early Access Eggs-travaganza in Pokémon GO Begins Today

Get ready for an egg-citing time as Niantic is inviting everyone to a truly unique event. The Pokémon GO Fest 2024: Global – Early Access Eggs-travaganza starts today, July 8 at 10:00 a.m. (local time) and runs until July 14 at 11:59 p.m. (local time).

This is for trainers who have a ticket for GO Fest 2024: Global in their inventory. They get to to enjoy these egg-related bonuses for the duration of the event:

  • 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event period.
  • Trainers can open up to 40 Gifts each day.
  • Increased chance to encounter Shiny Pokémon from 7 km Eggs.

Hatch those Eggs

During the event, these Pokémon are going to hatch from 7 km eggs:

  • Ducklett
  • Emolga
  • Crabrawler
  • Jangmo-o
  • Corsola
  • Budew
  • Maractus
  • Vullaby
  • Rockruff
  • Larvesta
  • Rockruff

By the way, these are the same Eggs which ticket-holding Trainers obtain from Gifts during the global GO Fest event. It comes with the same increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon.

GO Fest 2024

The Pokémon GO Fest 2024: Global is the biggest game event for the year. It's happening on July 13 and July 14 with more than 70 Pokémon making an appearance. There's even going to be special costumed Pokémon.

Trainers can join in the global event for free from anywhere in the world. For those who want more, they can upgrade their experience by getting an event ticket. Here's what ticket holders can get:

  • Access to an exclusive Special Research and learn more about the Mythical Pokémon Marshadow
    • There's also a chance to encounter a Marshadow.
  • Receive additional Special Research focused on Necrozma.
  • During each habitat hour on Saturday, ticket-holding Trainers around the world get to work together to complete a challenge.
    • If the challenge is completed in time, a special bonus is unlocked for the remainder of the hour for ticketed Trainers.
  • Enjoy these exclusive bonuses:
    • Increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon.
    • Up to six Special Trades can be made each day.
    • Level up the Elite Collector medal by completing habitat-themed Collection Challenges.
    • Up to 9 free Raid Passes from spinning Photo Discs at Gyms.
    • Special 7 km Eggs.
    • 2× friendship bonus damage in raids.
