You can encounter and fight against a variety of tough bosses in "Elden Ring," including Radagon of the Golden Order.

This particular foe is an enemy that you can fight shortly after clearing Leyndell, Ashen Capital. Radagon of the Golden Order is the father of Malenia and is not as difficult as the Blade of Miquella.

Despite this, he is still a formidable foe that players should take caution of when they are facing off against him. This guide teaches players how to fight this "Elden Ring" boss and what tips you should keep in mind during the battle.

Where To Find Radagon of the Golden Order

You can find this particular boss after progressing far enough in the game and completing nearly all of the required content. You first need to be at the Ashen Capital and defeat two other bosses, Sir Gideon Ofnir and Hoarah Loux, according to Polygon.

After you defeat these foes, you can finally make your way to Radagon of the Golden Order's arena, which is found inside the Erdtree. You only need to take the stairs from the Elden Throne arena and go into the ablaze massive tree in front.

Preparing for the Fight

One of the main things you should prepare for is to have a high enough health pool to tank some of the boss' attacks. While having 40 Vigor is workable, it is recommended to have around 60 to be safer.

You should also equip the Haligdrake Talisman or higher-tier variants to combat Radagon of the Golden Order's holy-infused abilities.

If you own the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, you can get the Golden Braid accessory in the Shaman village that grants amazing Holy Resistance, Game Spot said.

How To Defeat Radagon of the Golden Order

After preparing yourself and everything you think you may need for the fight, you can go to the boss' arena and start the battle.

It is worth noting that some of Radagon of the Golden Order's attacks are not meant to hit you but rather the ground to cause an area-of-effect strike.

You should spend the first few minutes of the battle trying to learn the boss' attack patterns to know when you should dodge and when you have opportunities to strike back and deal damage to the boss.

Keep a cautious stance, as Radagon of the Golden Order's attacks have a wide area but are generally easy to avoid. If you are a ranged or magic user, you should keep your distance while continuously attacking the boss but dodge when he moves closer.

The second phase of the fight starts when you reduce Radagon of the Golden Order to zero health, where he will transform into the Elden Beast.

In this form, the boss has attacks that deal damage to even wider areas, so keep an eye out for them and continue to dodge, according to Dexerto.
