Bethesda is committed to bringing Fallout 4 mod support to PS4 users as fast as they can, according to marketing executive Pete Hines.
It’s rare for consoles games to have mod support, so PS4 users are rightfully getting impatient with Sony and Bethesda. The gaming studio told its Twitter followers it wasworking with Sony to release mod support back in August.
“We’re working w/ Sony on Fallout 4 Mod support for PS4. The process is still under evaluation. As soon as we learn more, we will share news,” Bethesda shared on Twitter .
Hines recently spoke to Metro about what lies ahead for Bethesda when asked about the progress of PS4 mod support for Fallout 4 . Hines wouldn’t confirm if the setback for mods were from Sony’s end or technical issues for Bethesda, but the marketing executive assured Metro they are actively working on getting the support to the console.
“All I can say is that it’s undergoing an evaluation process and as soon as it’s done, and we have more info, we’re gonna let everyone know,” Hines told Metro. “We absolutely, positively want to get PS4 mods out as fast as humanly possible.”
Meanwhile, Fallout 4 has been out for almost a year and released all the DLCs that will come with the franchise and still no mod support of the PS4. It’s also been three months since Bethesda released mod support on Fallout 4 for Xbox One users.
