The latest update for Fallout 76 has been delayed, but not for long. The Wild Appalachia patch will now release one day later, on March 13. This delay is for all platforms, including PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
The March 13 update adds brewing and distilling and serves as the introduction to a broader set of updates. With the new brewing and distilling equipment, players can craft Nukashine at their C.A.M.P. Additionally, players can expect to stumble upon a new mythical beast and a “lost generation of scouts.” That sounds like a new quest to me.
The March 13 update serves as the first in a series of new content releases for Fallout 76. Assuming there aren’t any more delays, the Fasnacht Parade event begins on March 19. More information about the timed event can be found here. Additionally, a new survival pvp game mode will release on March 26.
Looking into the next few months, Fallout 76 will add player vending on April 9 along with a series of new quests. These new missions bring players face-to-face with mythical beasts, so be sure to bring some firepower. A fancy new in-game camera is coming on April 16, giving players an easy tool to share their experiences in the West Virginia Wastelands.
Even more quests will release on May 7. This batch of quests has players searching for the Pioneer Scouts, and adds a new backpack system to increase utility. Finally, the last planned update releases on May 23. This includes a new legendary vendor to buy some of Fallout 76 ’s best items.
It’s possible these new updates will also be delayed as well. Follow the Fallout Twitter account for all the up-to-the-minute updates on when to expect all this new content.
So what do you think? Are you excited about any of the updates coming to Fallout 76 over the next few months? Will you start brewing all the Nukashine you can later this week? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
