The new expansion for Far Cry 6 is now live and it’s time to see if you can find your way out in Lost Between Worlds. This new content is available as a standalone add-on purchase for $19.99.
The Lost Between Worlds expansion is also part of Upgrade Pass, which includes DLC episodes where players take on the role of some Far Cry villains. So, those who have the Upgrade Pass can enjoy the expansion too.
In this new expansion, Dani Rojas goes on her strangest adventure yet. After a rather disastrous encounter with an extraterrestrial AI, she becomes encased in an otherworldly dimension. Dani must navigate a series of connected rifts that are not only wildly different but also seriously dangerous.
Rifts include the likes of a fractured fortress floating in the sky and a colossal maze with shifting walls. Each rift offers a twisted version of Yara and poses a unique challenge for players. Dani has to fight against crystalline enemies, outwit deadly traps, and use those formidable stealth skills. Making things difficult is the sarcastic AI that’s just as unhappy in the current situation.
Players need to chart new paths across rifts and unlock new gear and gadgets while they make their way toward a climactic final encounter. Those able to emerge victorious will head back to Yara, bringing with them some powerful new gear to help them fight for Libertad.
