A new patch has been released for Farming Simulator 22 which adds two new competitive multiplayer modes. Players can head over to the main menu and look under "esports" to check out the Bale Stacking Mode and Arena Mode.
Bale Stacking Mode was previously a highlight during international gaming events a few years back. With this update, it's now playable for up to six players, and the mechanics are simple: stack those square bales on a trailer. The goal is to beat opponents as a timer counts down.
While Bale Stacking Mode is more of an individual affair, Arena Mode is all about strategy and team play. This mode was originally part of the Farming Simulator League but is finally open to all players. In this one, two teams composed of up to three players compete to get a high score by harvesting wheat, pressing bales, and delivering them to the barn.

Those who want to compete on a professional level can register with their friends and join the Farming Simulator League. Season 5 starts July 1 at FarmCon 23 in Lauingen, Germany. The prize pool of the competition is 200,000 Euros (approximately $213,000).
