In FIFA Mobile's previous treasure hunt, players went “under the sea” with Atlantis. The new treasure hunt from FIFA Mobile is taking everyone to another ancient city this time, but deep into the jungle with El Dorado. The event started last week and is set to run for 21 days until August 6.
Most of the mechanics are similar to the Atlantis treasure hunt. For example, there’s going to be three ads each day that hand out three Explorer Energy per ad. There are also going to seven weekly coin packs that give nine Explorer Energy. These are available for 125,000 coins. Explorer Energy, meanwhile, refreshes one per hour with a max of 15 Explorer Energy.
The basic event flow follows this set-up:
- To earn mining tokens you need to play:
- Skill Games
- VS Attack
- H2H Matches
- Mining tokens can be used in the gold mine in order to convert them to gold points.
- Gold points can be spent on the gold reward patch to earn, among others:
- Coins
- Skill Boosts
- Players
- Travel tickets
- Earn Travel tickets and other rewards by playing adventure matches.
- Spend travel tickets in the City of Gold to earn coins and players.
For the El Dorado Chapter, players can use Explorer Energy in order to play and win mining tokens. Here are the details:

- Win Rewards: 10 Mining Tokens
- Draw Rewards: N/A
- Loss Rewards: 3 Explorer Energy

- Cost: 3 Explorer Energy
- Win Rewards: 15 Mining Tokens

As mentioned, mining tokens can be converted to gold points in the gold mine. Each gold mine has nine total digs with:
- Six digs have 10 Gold Points
- Two digs have 20 Gold Points
- One dig has 50 Gold Points
The Gold Mine refreshes after nine digs with players having the option to use FIFA points to refresh early. Players who dig up 1,000 Gold Points get rewarded with an 88 PVR Treasure Hunt: El Dorado Player.
There’s also the Gold Reward Path where players can redeem Gold Points to get Treasure Hunt: El Dorado Players:
- Claim five Gold Reward Path Players.
- Earn a 98 OVR End of an Era Claudio Pizzaro.
- Claim the Top two Gold Reward Path Players.
- Earn 104 OVR Prime Icon Pelé.
For the City of Gold Chapter, players can use Travel Tickets in the City of Gold to get coins and even, possibly, players. Here are the details:
- Milestone Requirement: Use 10 Travel Tickets
- Milestone Reward: 87 OVR Treasure Hunt: El Dorado Player
- Milestone Requirement: Use 15 Travel Tickets
- Milestone Reward: 90 OVR Treasure Hunt: El Dorado Player
- Milestone Requirement: Use 25 Travel Tickets
- Milestone Reward: 92 OVR Treasure Hunt: El Dorado Player
- Milestone Requirement: Use 100 Travel Tickets
- Milestone Reward: 97 OVR Treasure Hunt: El Dorado Player
- Milestone Requirement: Use 250 Travel Tickets
- Milestone Reward: 100 OVR Treasure Hunt: El Dorado Player
The event is also going to have a Hidden Gold Path which starts on July 23 and ends on July 30. Here everyone need to play matches in order to earn coins, skill boosts, training XP, Gold Points, and Shape Shifter players.
Finally, there is a new SBC offered for Treasure Hunt: El Dorado. Exchange Treasure Hunt: El Dorado and other Players for 50 Common and 30 Rare Rank Shards.
