A lot of players have already started enjoying the Endwalker expansion of Final Fantasy XIV. These are for those who were able to get early access to the new content. However, there’s congestion that resulted in many experiencing troubles. The good news is that there’s a silver lining to all of this in the form of free game time.
For sure, this could be a minor issue for many players. But as expected, the Final Fantasy XIV team has already worked out a plan to minimize whatever disruptions were experienced. None other than the game’s Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida released a statement explaining the situation and what compensation is available.
Yoshida revealed that all Worlds in all regions have been hitting the login cap for long periods, resulting in the very slow progression of login queues. Because of this, Yoshida said that he is “truly sorry” for the “many inconveniences.”
Yoshida went on to say that because of the long wait in queues, players who have the full version and an active subscription get seven days of free game time when Endwalker officially launches. However, it’s not the only thing happening. According to Yoshida, there may be extra free game time depending on what happens in this congestion situation.
