Ubisoft and Square Enix have joined forces for what appears to be an epic Assassin’s Creed -themed event in Final Fantasy XV, similar to February’s Moogle Chocobo Carnival.

Final Fantasy XV players can attend the Assassins Festival beginning Aug. 31 through Jan. 31, 2018. The event was announced during Gamescom 2017 along with a reveal trailer. The teaser shows the iconic Leap of Faith and parkour moves you’d expect from the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Players will be able to climb buildings as Noctis rocks the traditional assassin’s uniform and hidden blade weapon. His three besties, Ignis, Gladio and Prompto, also sport AC -inspired outfits in the reveal trailer.

“This collaboration is the result of being huge fans,” Ashraf Ismail, game director at Ubisoft Montreal, said in a news release. “There’s a lot of respect between the two teams and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the opportunity to pay homage to each other’s work.”

The event takes place in the town of Lestallum, which will be decorated with Assassins banners, symbols and feature new activities exclusive to the festival. Those who participated in the Moogle Chocobo Carnival event will also receive a special gift from the Assassin’s Festival DLC. If you managed to snag the Dream Egg, you’ll be able to unlock an Assassin outfit for Noctis.

If the Assassin’s Festival isn’t enough new content, Square Enix also announced Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition will launch fall 2017, along with the Comrades multiplayer expansion DLC. Fans can also look forward to the release of the Episode Ignis DLC this December. And if that’s still not enough to scratch your Final Fantasy XV itch, you can look forward to the Monster of the Deep: Final Fantasy XV VR game on Nov. 21. Oh, and Final Fantasy XV may be coming to the Nintendo Switch as well. Learn more about plans for the ever-expanding Final Fantasy XV universe of content here.

The timing of the festival also coincides with the Assassin’s Creed Origins launch. It follows the story of Bayek, a Medjai and an assassin living in Egypt circa 49 B.C. The game will feature historical figures like Cleopatra and Julius Caesar. Ubisoft’s latest installment for the AC franchise is out for PS4, Xbox One and PC on Oct. 27.

Final Fantasy XV

Combat, Plot, Characters Create Something Flawed, Beautiful, Fantastic
Despite it's flaws, Final Fantasy XV is a milestone achievement: not just for being completed, but for being completed with polish, aplomb and love.
  • Engaging main cast of characters
  • Fun, fast-paced combat
  • A massive, beautiful world to explore
  • The Regalia!
  • Continuous updates have addressed some shortcomings of the initial release
  • Major aspects of the story feel rushed or absent, particularly toward the end of the game
  • Stealth sequences feel out of place
