Firewatch was released this past February on PS4 and PC to high critical praise. Xbox One owners will be able to get in on the great gaming soon, with Firewatch coming to the console on Sept. 21.

The Xbox One version of Firewatch will include a few new additions that weren’t part of the PS4 and PC release. One is an audio commentary, featuring developer insights on what is happening while playing along with the game. The other new mode is a Free Roam mode, allowing you to wander throughout the Wyoming wilderness without having to worry about the story.

The commentary will be available right away, and the free roam mode will be added in a later update. Both modes will come to Xbox One first before getting added to PS4 and PC.

iDigitalTimes gave Firewatch a perfect 5/5 stars, praising the game’s voice acting, storytelling and visuals. If you missed out on Firewatch the first time around, be sure to play it on Xbox One.

So what do you think? Are you excited to get to play Firewatch? Are you more interested in returning to the game for developer commentary and free roam? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
