The CW has released the synopsis for Season 2 episode 20, “Rupture.” Just as we thought The Flash couldn't get any crazier on the cusp of this week’s “Versus Zoom” showdown, it’s also been revealed metahuman Griffin Grey will go after Harrison Wells in episode 19, “Back to Normal.” Even more, we can now expect some kind of ‘vibing’ going on between Cisco (aka Vibe) and his Earth-2 supervillain brother Dante Ramon, who calls himself Rupture.

The episode synopses also suggest Iris and Barry may actually have a heart-to-heart regarding their longstanding romantic feelings for one another. Wally West appears to be asking some serious questions about The Flash’s true identity because he’s penned to ‘corner’ Joe during the April 26th episode. A recent image released by CW show Zoom gripping up a frightened Wally West in STAR Labs, so it sounds like ‘Kid Flash’ won’t find out about Barry’s secret identity (if at all) until after the “Rupture” episode.

Check out both synopses below:

“Rupture”- May 3

Zoom arrives back on Earth-1 intent on taking over Central City. Barry and Wells come up with a plan to stop Zoom once and for all but it’s extremely dangerous. Unsure if he should take the risk, Barry reaches out to both fathers for advice. Henry is adamantly opposed to Barry risking his life again but Joe thinks he can handle it which puts the two men at odds with each other. Meanwhile, Cisco is shocked when he vibes the Earth-2 villain Rupture, who happens to be his brother Dante’s doppelganger. Rupture came to this Earth seeking justice for Reverb’s death. Iris decides she’s finally ready to open up to Barry about her feelings for him.

“Back to Normal” -April 26

A meta-human with super strength named Griffin Grey mistakes Harry for Earth-1 Harrison Wells and kidnaps him, demanding that Wells cure him from his current condition. Realizing another brilliant Wells could help track Griffin’s location, Barry asks Jesse to help. Meanwhile, Wally corners Joe about The Flash.

A leaked set photo back in March pictured a supervillain sporting Rupture’s gear and it turns out fan’s predictions were correct. It was unclear at the time whether the Rupture would be Cisco’s brother Armando or Dante. Now we know Ruputre is the Earth-2 doppleganger of Dante Ramon, brother of Reverb. Earth-1 Dante was introduced as an arrogant pianist in Season 1 episode, “Rogue Time.” Cisco has never mentioned Armando, who takes on Rupture’s identity in the comics. Dante has no established second identity.

Rupture will most likely possesses similar abilities to his Earth-2 brother, Reverb. Cisco hasn’t yet learned the full extent of his powers, but the “Versus Zoom” synopsis reveals Vibe will use his powers to open the breach to Earth-2. While the "Rupture" synopsis reveals Dante is a villain on Earth-2, it doesn’t say he’s after Cisco on Earth-1. Since Zoom is the one who killed Reverb, could Rupture end up being an ally to Team Flash? If he really want’s justice and revenge for Reverb, he’ll need help going after Zoom. He’s also the perfect person to teach Vibe more about his powers. However, he could be under Zoom's influence like Reverb was, which means he'd be under the impression Cisco is responsible for Reverb's death.

“Versus Zoom” - April 19

Equipped with the tachyon device, Barry believes he is fast enough to stop Zoom and wants to open the breaches to catch him. Harry strongly advises against that plan but after Barry convinces him, Harry reveals that Cisco has the power to re-open the breach. Meanwhile, Hunter Zolomon painful story on Earth-2 is revealed.
