The Flash Season 3 premiere airs tonight and The CW has released a second extended trailer previewing what’s in to store for ‘Flashpoint,’ the alternate timeline Barry mistakenly created when he went back in time to save his mother from The Reverse Flash. In the scene, Barry races after Kid Flash and The Rival wearing plain clothes. Kid Flash, Central City’s biggest hero in the Flashpoint timeline, lures The Rival into the street for battle. The Rival spews off lightning bolts like bullets as they hit buildings and cop cars. In fear that one would hit Barry, Kid Flash rushes over to move him out of harm’s way.
Kid Flash’s yellow lightning streaks are a sight to behold. While he clearly doesn’t have as much experience as Barry, he’s certainly just as ambitious. Kid flash insinuates The Rival has been a persistent problem in Central City. Will Barry suit up and teach Kid Flash some new tricks?
