The stunning Lamborghini Centenario shocked the Geneva Motor Show on Tuesday. Only 40 examples of this €1.75 million, or $1.9 million USD, exotic will be built. Believe it or not, all 40 are already spoken for. However, that doesn't mean the rest of us won't get to experience the thrill of the latest bull from Sant'Agata Bolognese.
Microsoft announced that the next Xbox-exclusive Forza title will feature the Lamborghini Centenario as the star of the cover art. While Turn 10 and Microsoft have yet to make any official announcements, it is widely believed that the next title in the franchise is Forza Horizon 3.
The sensational Lamborghini Centenario commemorates the 100th birthday of founder Ferruccio Lamborghini. Visually, the Centenario borrows some of the most iconic design philosophies from Lamborghinis of the past. The massive dual vents aft of the nose can be traced back to the Miura while the enormous vents that feed air to the 760 horsepower V12 engine are reminiscent to the lines from the iconic 25th Anniversary Lamborghini Countach.
All in all, this is one of the most jawdropping executions to ever emerge from Lamborghini, and that's saying a lot. The 760hp power unit is good to accelerate the Centenario from 0-100 kmh (0-62 mph) in 2.8 seconds all the way to an insane top speed of 217+ mph.
Micrsoft shared a new Forza Xbox teaser on Tuesday featuring a lineup of Lamborghini supercars from its long heritage.
"Drive the Lamborghini Centenario in the next all-new Forza game," read the trailer. "More news to come at the Xbox E3 Media Briefing."
