Turn 10 Studios’ upcoming game, Forza Horizon 5, is set to be released five months from now. The game was announced at E3 2021 and will launch on November 9, 2021, following a three-year break.
The game will take place in Mexico, with tons of adventure and cars. It will also include the latest ray-tracing features to make it look more realistic. So, if you want to run the game with decent frame rates, you will need a good system.
The system requirements have been displayed on Steam, and the minimum requirements make it look good for players with older hardware. Windows 10 is compulsory for most current-generation games, and Forza made it mandatory.
Starting with CPU, you will need an Intel i3-4170 at 3.7 GHz or Intel i5 750 at 2.67 GHz for minimum settings. For the GPU, Nvidia GTX 650 Ti or AMD R7 250X, which are pretty old cards. For memory, 8 GB is necessary to run the game or you expect the game to be unstable, likely to crash or freeze.
If your system is slower than the given requirements, it might be hard to experience decent gameplay due to very low FPS. But the game's system requirements are relatively low for machines with hardware of two to three years old. So, most players should be able to run the game without any issues on the lowest settings. While the specifications for the recommended settings were not posted, expect the game to demand mid to high-level hardware to run smoothly at high settings.
The game will also be on the Xbox Cloud Gaming test, so players with bad systems can run the game without any problems. However, players must have a stable internet connection for the cloud service.
Here are the complete system requirements for Forza Horizon 5:
