Are you a fan of tactical challenges? What about pirate adventures? Then you’re in for a treat with Frigato: Shadows of the Caribbean. It’s coming out in 2023 on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
Frigato: Shadows of the Caribbean is a real-time stealth tactical game that offers an isometric view, focused on single-player gameplay. The game takes players to the golden age of piracy where they command a crew of sea dogs while facing different challenges. To succeed, players need to have a plan along with a tactical sense.
In a statement, Mercat Games game designer Jakub Brzeziński shared that the game combines elements of dark legends, pirate adventures, and rowdy humor. He added that the gameplay is similar to Commandos, Desperados, and Shadow Tactics. Brzeziński said that this should make Frigato: Shadows of the Caribbean appealing to fans of the games mentioned.
Ultimate Games COO Rafał Jelonek, meanwhile, revealed that for now, the game is launching on PC, and then on Xbox and Nintendo Switch consoles. He went on to say that they hope to come out with a version for PlayStation consoles in the future.

- A real pirate loves plundering and wealth. Make sure to spend the riches accumulated on better equipment, ammunition, or bribes.
