It’s no secret that The Game Awards 2022 is going to be the biggest gaming event this year. The competition is quite tough as both God of War Ragnarök and Elden Ring have received universal acclaim from fans and critics. The award function will be streamed worldwide on December 8.
Even though TGA 2022 is less than a month away, we still don’t know what games will be present at the event, but that won’t stop us from making some educated guesses. Here are some of the games we think will be showcased at The Game Awards 2022.
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty
Phantom Liberty, the only expansion of Cyberpunk 2077, has already been confirmed and will launch next year. However, details about it are tightly kept a secret. CD Projekt can choose TGA 2022 to reveal the very first gameplay footage of the expansion. We also won’t say no to a surprise Keanu Reeves presence at the event.
Atomic Heart
Atomic Heart is an intriguing title from an Eastern European country. The upcoming first-person shooter is like BioShock but in Soviet Russia, which we all unknowingly wanted. Acclaimed composer Mick Gordon is working on the soundtrack of the game, so if you loved his work in DOOM (2016) and Eternal, then you might want to check this game out. Atomic Heart's appearance on TGA 2022 is very likely as its release is on February 21.
Dead Space (2023)
Dead Space (2023) will launch for next-gen consoles and PC on January 27, only a month after the award function. EA will love to use the event watched by millions to market its upcoming major game. We hope that the possible success of the remake will green light more Dead Space-related projects.
Starfield
Starfield is a very important game for Microsoft since the giant company did spend billions of dollars to acquire Bethesda. The upcoming Xbox console-exclusive game will arrive in the first half of 2023. A new trailer at TGA can easily become a highlight of the show.
So, do you think any of these games will be present at The Game Awards 2022? Which other games do you think will be revealed? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
