The critically acclaimed survival horror game Remothered: Tormented Fathers has just unveiled its upcoming sequel titled Remothered: Broken Porcelain (originally called Remothered: Going Porcelain). Publisher Modus Games and developer Darril Arts and Stormind Games announced a multiple platform release to come in the summer of 2020.
With Tormented Fathers receiving acclaim for its gameplay and impeccable mastery of horror elements, Remothered: Broken Porcelain looks to build upon it, introducing new gameplay and storytelling elements that breathe new life into the characters we got to know in the prequel, all the while bringing an unprecedented level of immersion in this new haunting adventure.
A debut trailer has been unveiled along with the announcement, complete with mundane yet unsettling imagery and a haunting and menacing soundtrack. The game’s soundtrack will come from composer Luca Balboni, known for his work on the prequel, Mine, and Watch Them Fall. No details about the story have been released yet, but it is supposed to be set in the Ashmann Inn and follows the lore surrounding the events and characters of Tormented Fathers. Players should still expect the same challenging and chilling gameplay involving making quick decisions on whether to sneak, fight, or flee, while using almost anything and everything in your environment to your advantage.
Remothered: Broken Porcelain will launch for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in summer 2020.
