Ghost Recon Breakpoint announced that it is preparing to launch the Red Patriot Adventure. In this one, players get to team up with an old friend in order to fight against old enemies. There’s a catch though, as this new adventure is going to be paid content.
The Red Patriot adventure offers ten new missions that come with exclusive rewards. There’s a bit of a good news, as all players can access two of the missions for free without having to buy the full DLC. The new adventure can be purchased from the in-game store for 1,900 Ghost Coins. The Red Patriot is also going to be free to those who have the Ghost Recon Breakpoint Year 1 pass.
Even without owning the Adventure or the Year 1 pass, all players can still access the missions as long as they are in a co-op session with someone that has either the DLC or the Year 1 pass. However, those who don't own the expansion in one way or the other won’t be able to earn any of the rewards from playing.
For those who have been following Ghost Recon Breakpoint, this expansion was first revealed during the Year 1 roadmap, but was then titled as Transcendence. However, Red Patriot isn’t just a renaming, it comes with a new premise as well. This was a result of the feedback received from players along with the decision of the creative team on where the story needed to go.
Title Update 3.0.0
Ghost Recon Breakpoint is also set to release Title Update 3.0.0. This update is going to introduce some major bug fixes along with improvements. These include fixing issues related to:
- NPC drivers not taking any damage when being shot by AI Teammates.
- After purchasing Forest Tactical Pants, players no longer find the item in their inventory when rebooting the game.
- Patches are not visible on the Rebel Ballistic Mask.
- Too many enemies are present at the base of several Elite faction missions.
- Multiple intel not unlocked when completing Episode 2 missions.
- Players sometimes experience stuttering and crashes when running the game on the Vulkan API.
- Players experience freezes at any time while moving in Raids.
- A weapon’s laser dots appear as a black opaque square on several surfaces in Night Vision.
A comprehensive list of all the updates and fixes are going to be released once TU 3.0.0 is live.
