Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, D’Angelo and Alabama Shakes all took home Grammys, but there was much more to the show than awards. Miguel, John Legend, Kendrick Lamar, Gwen Stefani, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Adele and The Weeknd made memorable performances.

Nominated for ‘Album of the Year’ for their second album, Sound & Color, The Alabama Shakes sing “Don’t Wanna Fight.”

Gwen Stefani debuts the music video for “Make Me LIke You” live on the Grammy stage. Her first solo album in 10 years, This Is What The Truth Feels Like releases March 18.

Justin Bieber performs “Love Yourself” and “Where Are U Now” with Skrillex & Diplo.

Lady Gaga tributes David Bowie with a greatest hits medley.

Adele sings “All I Ask” through sound problems.

Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp And Joe Perry pay respects to Lemmy with “As Bad As I Am” and “Ace of Spades.”

The Eagles surviving members perform “Take it Easy” with Jackson Brown.

The Weeknd sings “Can’t Feel My Face” and “In The Night.”

Nominated for 11 Grammys, Kendrick Lamar ended up taking home five. One for his collaboration with Taylor Swift on the music video for “Bad Blood.” His own music video for “Alright” did not win in the ‘Best Music Video’ category. Lamar also won for ‘Best Rap Performance,’ ‘Best Rap Album’, ‘Best Rap/Sung Collaboration’ and ‘Best Rap Song. ’ Swift’s 1989 won ‘Album of The Year’ over Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly. Although nominated, “Alright” did not win ‘Song of The Year.’ Instead, Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” took home the Grammy.

Taylor Swift, nominated for 7 Grammys, won three including ‘Best Pop Vocal Album’ for 1989. The Weeknd was awarded two Grammys, one for “Earned It” as ‘Best R&B Performance,’ and the second for Beauty Behind The Madness as ‘Best Urban Contemporary Album.’
