Netmarble announced that its upcoming game Grand Cross: Age of Titans is launching worldwide this August 2023. For those who can't wait that long, here's some good news. The early access for the game will start on Android June 30.
If the game doesn't sound familiar, it was previously titled Grand Cross W. This upcoming 2D animation MMO RTS offers players the chance to experience large-scale and immersive siege wars across land and on air.
It is set in the world of Skyna where various battles have erupted as a result of fights against the invading armies of Chaos. The story focuses on Mio and Eujin. The two have been summoned to Skyna and meet Destina, the princess of the kingdom. Players can progress through the game by driving away the forces of Chaos by seizing territories.
Grand Cross: Age of Titans has players lead multiple troop-types, including infantry, archers, cavalry, and siege weapons, to win battles. The addition of ranged archers and air units has introduced a new strategic component and can also turn the tide of the war. There is also a giant battle unit known as "Titan," much more powerful compared to other units because it can cause great damage and destruction to enemy formations no matter the terrain.
Grand Cross: Age of Titans has several game modes like:

- World (Field) and Capturing
- Castle War
- Server vs. Server War
- Story Chapters and Territory Expansion
- Territory Customization
Players can also take on intense and siege warfare having MMORPG mechanics versus other Alliances through Castle War.
In a statement, Min-Suk Kang of Netmarble revealed that the game was a project that brought current strategy games and animation graphics to a different level using unique strategic play.
