It’s Tuesday, so that means updates to GTA Online! This week adds a new helicopter along with Transform races, new outfits, opportunities for bonus rewards and much more.
The new vehicular addition to GTA Online is the FH-1 Hunter helicopter. This beast of a machine comes packed with rocket launchers and a gunner seat, so you can fly while your buddy mows down whatever he wants. The FH-1 Hunter is now available at Warstock Cache And Carry, but no price has been confirmed yet.
Also new this week are 16 Transform races. Participating in these new races will earn players double the GTA$ and RP rewards, so get online and get racing. As an added incentive to try the Transform races, any player who logs in from now through Nov. 27 will unlock a free Jock Cranley white jumpsuit. Modeled after Evel Knievel's famous look, this outfit comes complete with a helmet to protect you when you inevitably throw yourself out of the new FH-1 Hunter at high altitudes.
There are also some major automobile discounts this week. While these are the items we know will be on sale until Nov. 27, it has also been confirmed GTA Online will have its own in-game Black Friday. If you’re looking to save even more cash, you might want to hold off on making any purchases until those discounts are announced.
The confirmed discounts on vehicles and vehicle upgrades are as follows:
Progen Tyrus – 25 percent off
Dewbauchee Rapid GT – 25 percent off
Engine Upgrades – 25 percent off
Handling Upgrades – 25 percent off
Brakes – 25 percent off
Transmission – 25 percent off
Turbo – 25 percent off
Suspension – 25 percent off
Spoilers – 25 percent off
As always, there’s also a new Premium and Time Trial race in this weekly update. The Premium race is Redneck, which is locked to the Rocket Voltic. The Time Trial race is End to End. The top three finishers in the Premium race will win GTA$ and all racers will get triple the RP rewards. Beating the par time for the Time Trial pays out GTA$ and RP as well.
So what do you think? Are you excited to take to the skies in the FH-1 Hunter? Will you tear it up on the 16 new Transform races? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
