Although technically announced during the last week of September, Help Will Come Tomorrow publisher Klabater has just released the official "announcement trailer" showcasing what the upcoming title is going to be about.
In the announcement trailer, we can see that Help Will Come Tomorrow takes place during the onset of the October Revolution, in the frigid and harsh Siberian wilderness. The player will be put in charge of managing a motley crew of survivors until they are rescued. Featuring unique story-driven elements combined with resource management enveloped across the over-arching survival genre, Help Will Come Tomorrow offers an interesting take on management games.
According to the game description, Help Will Come Tomorrow's gameplay will ask players to overcome the animosity between survivors as brought about by their difference in the class system. The game features complex class relationship building mechanics, which players will have to effectively manage alongside scarce, but vital, resources. One of the game's best points will also be its narrative - the story is set in 1917 Russia, and players will be able to uncover intimate tales about the lives of the game's nine unique characters.
Developed in a partnership between Klabater and Arclight Creations, Help Will Come Tomorrow is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2020 for PC and all current-gen consoles - that means PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Klabater is pretty big on the "story-driven resource management" genre, so we can expect nuanced and sophisticated mechanics to come to Help Will Come Tomorrow. Klabater is also the studio behind popular titles such as Big Pharma and We. The Revolution.
