The contract for Elusive Target 17 is now available to the Hitman community, wrapping up a year of stellar post-launch support for the episodic stealth shooter, and a new trailer offers a handful of details on the food critic roaming Bangkok for the next week. And it also serves as an excellent reminder of why I nominated Hitman as iDigitalTimes’ 2016 Game of the Year.
There’s only one target this week: Wen Ts’ai, the food critic. As usual, Ts’ai’s contract will be available for seven days and players won’t be able to save during their attempts. The mission can be restarted, as long as you haven’t killed the target, and there aren’t any special conditions or secondary objectives for Agent 47 to worry about. That’s pretty much the extent of our knowledge about Elusive Target 17. A new trailer for the contract offers glimpses at the target’s route, along with choice excerpts from Ts’ai’s blog, but little else. Experienced Hitman players know the drill.

Hitman is currently available for download on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Hitman: The Complete First Season hits retail stores on Jan. 31, 2017.
