The road to retail wasn’t easy for Homefront: The Revolution, nor was the post-launch reception, but Deep Silver isn’t giving up on the open world shooter published in May 2016. The game is getting new content next month, a free console demo, and 4K/HDR-ready TV owners can even look forward to PS4 Pro support for Homefront: The Revolution by the end of March. Here’s all the latest from Deep Silver and DS Dambuster Studios.

The third and final expansion for Homefront: The Revolution, Beyond The Walls, will be released sometime next month, Deep Silver confirmed this week. Details on the game’s next expansion are practically non-existent, for now, but the project’s title suggests Ethan Brady and the rest of the Resistance could be venturing outside of Philadelphia for the first time. All anyone familiar with the expansion will say is that players can look forward to “a breath of fresh air.

Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios also confirmed plans to release a new Homefront: The Revolution demo in March. Unfortunately, the demo will only be available on PS4 and Xbox One. There’s no word on why the two companies decided to skip a PC demo, but piracy concerns, the most commonly cited excuse for console exclusivity, could have factored into the equation.

Last, but certainly not least, Deep Silver says PS4 Pro owners can expect Homefront: The Revolution to support Sony’s updated hardware after the game’s next patch is released. The update is also slated for March, which could end up being the biggest month for Homefront fans since the game’s launch, but additional details on the patch will apparently arrive at a later date.

Homefront: The Revolution is currently available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game’s next expansion, Beyond The Walls , will debut in March 2017.
