The recent For Honor closed beta was a popular attraction among gamers, becoming the most-watched game on Twitch multiple times during its three-day stint, and Ubisoft just confirmed we’ll get one more chance to play For Honor before the game debuts later this month.
Thousands of players were admitted to last weekend’s For Honor beta, including members of the press, popular streamers and consumers of all ages. But there were still plenty of people who didn’t get a chance to try the upcoming competitive action title for a variety of reasons. Some were too busy attending PAX South 2017. Others might’ve also made the trip to San Antonio for WWE’s annual Royal Rumble event. Maybe they were one of the eight people who watch the Pro Bowl every year?
Whatever the reason, Ubisoft is giving anyone interested in For Honor one last chance to play the game, without spending money, before it heads to PC and consoles on Valentine’s Day. An open beta for the game will begin on Thursday, Feb. 9, and continue through Sunday, Feb. 12. All three factions will be available again; however, we’ll still only have access to three of the four characters from each squad. Ubisoft says four game modes will be available during the For Honor open beta: Brawl, Dominion, Duel and Elimination. That last addition to the list is making its debut in the open beta and pits teams of four against one another in a Best of Five series without respawns.
For Honor is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game debuts Feb. 14.
