The HTC Vive Consumer edition will soon begin shipping to those who have preordered the VR headset, but customers may need to double-check that the charge for their HTC Vive has gone through and the money has been deducted from their accounts.
Some who have purchased the Vive are reporting their charges are being declined due to various fraud protection mechanisms in their payment options. If declined Vive orders aren’t corrected, they could prevent customers who thought they preordered the headset from getting the HTC Vive when they expect it to arrive. But HTC already has a solution in place to resolve the issue.
Since the issue appears to be on HTC’s end, those who are not seeing a charge for their Vive on their account can call HTC at 888-216-4736.
This issue is reportedly widespread and there may be a long waiting time to speak to an HTC representative, according to Android Central .
The HTC Vive is expect to begin shipping in early April, but is currently available for preorder at $799.
