Big news, DC fans. On Tuesday morning, elements of the Justice League movie will be revealed according to several journalists who visited the set in London last week. The announcement is a surprising one from Warner Bros., considering San Diego Comic Con is still over a month away. But with Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman first in line, Warner Bros. might be considering a shakeup before the expo’s marketing push of those films.
That’s not the only potential idea behind the Justice League reveal: Warner Bros. needs to win back the public’s favor following the disaster of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The launch of DC’s new cinematic universe initially earned a ton of money, but ultimately failed to live up to expectations and was panned by critics. A little demo of the Justice League could convince weary fans to buy tickets to Suicide Squad, which arrives in August.
Sean O’Connell is the movie content director of Cinema Blend and Eric Vespe is an established movie critic. Naturally, their claims should not be taken lightly -- not with their reputations on the line. Unfortunately the pair are bound by some sort of embargo, but Warner. Bros. looks set to pull back the curtain early next week. Will we see the first Justice League photos? Official synopsis? A trailer?! We’ll keep you updated as soon the news arrives.
Justice League: Part One is set to hit theaters Nov. 17, 2017.
