A new game set in the Invincible universe is coming soon to Android and iOS. Invincible: Guarding the Globe is a free-to-play, idle RPG where players can collect characters, form an attack squad, and take part in superpowered, multi-battle action.
Players are tasked with helping the Global Defense Agency in fighting against the villainous clone army. They get to recruit not only heroes like Invincible, Atom Eve, and Omni-Man, but even villains like the Flaxans, Titan, or the Mauler Twins. To level up their characters, players need to gain experience.
Choose Your Hero
In Invincible: Guarding the Globe, each character a player recruits brings a different skill set that allows them to take on the role of either Attacker, Defender, or Support fighter during the fight. It's up to players to find the best combination to overcome the challenges.
In each battle, players can choose five heroes. They can equip each character with a maximum of four items to increase both their powers and stats. Players can choose to take on challenges solo or team up with others to survive the waves of enemies.
Each victory lets players earn experience. However, there are also daily and weekly objectives to complete and obtain new rewards. For each season, there's going to be a new hero introduced which players can recruit for their squad.
In a statement, Skybound chairman and chief creative officer Robert Kirkman shared that it's been exciting to watch the Invincible universe evolve. What started as a comic book series has become a TV show and now a video game. Kirkman revealed that with Invincible offering a multi-hero narrative, they love the fact that it's a multiplayer RPG where players get to fight numerous battles at the same time.
