Back in the 90s, many fighting game fans saw The King of Fighters as a rival to Street Fighter. It looks like that rivalry is being put aside with an upcoming collaboration between The King of Fighters AllStar and Street Fighter. While no date yet has been given, interested players can pre-register beginning March 15.
So far, these are the fighters revealed to be joining the battle:
- Ryu
- A fighter who devotes everything to self-improvement.
- He is a humble and respectful individual.
- He travels worldwide to fight other opponents.
- He trains every day to suppress his Satsui no Hado.
- Chun-Li and Chun-Li (Nostalgic)
- She became a detective at the age of 18 to find her missing father.
- Her father's disappearance involves Shando, an organization that she has promised to destroy.
The new collaboration isn’t the only new content arriving in the game. Other pieces of content set to be released in the future are:
- New content – “Dispatch”
- By completing Dispatch, rewards can be obtained as time elapses upon placing a fighter.
- New PVP Event – “Dream match”
- Dream match lets players fight regardless of their fighters’ rank or specification.
- New Ranking - EX Fighters and Growth Element
- Players can grow their favorite fighters via a new growth system "Change Up.”
- Boss Syndrome Omega Rugal and Boss Syndrome Orochi are going to be the first set of fighters to utilize the new growth system.
- “All-Star Archive” Added
- Archive fighters to obtain an emblem that gives special abilities.
- Players can use the desired emblems in the dungeon to clear missions.
