After what’s felt like years and years of waiting (it hasn’t been that long, I need to calm down), the release date for Chapter 4 of King’s Quest has been revealed. Snow Place Like Home will be coming next week, on Sept. 27. Even better, the whole series will be wrapped up by the end of the year.
“King's Quest is approaching its final chapters, but there are still plenty of adventures, surprises and puns to be had,” Matt Korba, president and creative director of The Odd Gentlemen, said in a press release. “Today we are incredibly excited to announce that players will be able to experience the last two chapters and bonus epilogue of King Graham's journey before the holidays.”
Snow Place Like Home tells the tale of how Prince Alexander disappeared as a child, only to mysteriously return 18 years later. Playing as King Graham, you must reconnect with your son, while also try to figure out what happened during all those years away. Oh yeah, and there’s also a giant Ice Palace that Graham and Alexander must perilously make their way through.
King’s Quest Chapter 4: Snow Place Like Home comes to PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on Sept. 27.
So what do you think? Are you excited to play the next chapter in the new King’s Quest series? Are you happy to know the complete game will be here by the end of the year? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
