All systems go for Kirby and the Forgotten Land this March 25 on Nintendo Switch. If you’re excited but not yet sure about this game, here's the good news. A free demo of the game is now available.
This free demo allows players to try three stages, including a boss stage. It also allows players to share a Joy-Con controller with a friend to try the co-op mode. That’s not all! Those able to finish the demo get a Present Code, which when redeemed, allows players to get some useful in-game items in the full version.
If you’re one of those familiar with Kirby, then you probably know that he has this flair when it comes to inhaling stuff. In this game, Kirby has arrived at an unknown land and learned that creatures known as Waddle Dees are being kidnapped by the Beast Pack. It’s now up to Kirby to rescue them.
One thing that fans can expect in the game is to be able to use the different abilities of Kirby in 3D environments. The game world offers a platforming challenge set in something that looks like a combination of nature and past civilization.
As mentioned, the goal of the game is for Kirby to rescue the Waddle Dees. However, it’s not that easy since the Beast Pack are sure to give players a challenge. The good news is that besides being able to use the copy abilities of Kirby, he also comes with new abilities. For example, the Ranger copy ability lets Kirby set his sights on enemies, no matter the distance. Meanwhile, the Drill copy ability is where he goes underground and then attacks enemies from below.
For those who need help rescuing the Waddle Dees, they can ask help from friends and family. This means players don’t have to go to the mission alone. A second player can take on the role of Bandana Waddle Dee who attacks enemies using his spear.
What do you think? Ready to help the Waddle Dees?
Kirby and the Forgotten Land is priced at $59.99.
