The Last Guardian is actually coming out for real this time, and reviews will be posted starting Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. EST. This is a day before the Dec. 6 release date for The Last Guardian.
This news comes from the website OpenCritic, who has posted a helpful countdown timer showing when reviews will be going live. OpenCritic is a review aggregator for video games, similar to Metacritic.
Based on a pre-release demo at this year’s E3, iDigitalTimes felt gameplay was slow and sluggish. Camera controls especially were troublesome. That being said, the game has since received additional bug fixing and polish, so the final release could be more fluid than what has been seen so far.
Be sure to stick around iDigitalTimes for a full The Last Guardian review once we have completed the game.
