League of Legends Patch 13.9 has arrived and it features a midscope for Neeko. The developers want to punctuate her identity as a trickster, so some changes were made to make that a reality.
Before anything else, a midscope in League of Legends is a lengthy process that ultimately leads to adjustments that will make underperforming champions even better.
So, what tweaks were made to Neeko in Patch 13.9? Neeko's Passive, Inherent Glamour, is now more useful than ever. When she's near a non-epic monster, minion, trap, ward, or plant for a couple of seconds, Neeko stores their Sho'Ma, aka spirit. Once that is done, Neeko can click on her bar to become that unit. Only one unit can be stored at a time.
But that's not all! The disguise no longer breaks when she takes damage. Instead, it will only fall off when she dies or under crowd control effects like stun or silence. Furthermore, the cooldown of this effect has been reduced significantly, from 25-10 seconds (based on level) to just two seconds in Patch 13.9.
Shapesplitter also got heavily improved. The clone created by this ability now plays animations and sounds of her Q and E abilities, as well as certain emotes, such as dance, joke, taunt, laugh, and recall. This enables her clone to fool enemy champions into thinking that it's the real Neeko, which is what the developers had intended.
