After the insane amount of information shoved into League Of Legends patch 6.22, Riot has decided to give us a tiny break. We are still all getting used to the new assassins, jungle camps and whatever plants are supposed to do. While we adjust to our new climate, Riot has decided to tweak a few champions and the jungle, alongside the release of Elementalist Lux.
Here are the four most important changes coming in http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/patch/patch-623-notes League Of Legends patch 6.23.
Shyvana Is Getting Some Love - The half-dragon lady hasn’t been doing too well; ever since Riot removed the Devourer enchantment from the game, she just hasn’t had much bite. With almost no crowd control, it’s been really hard for her to keep up in this meta full of Reksais and Olafs. Now, she’s some sort of dragon hater, gaining buffs for each Elemental Dragon she kills, five magic resist and armor to be precise. Her dragon form is getting some huge buffs; Burnout is bigger, Flame Breath shoots an exploding inferno that leaves a DOT area wherever it landed and her ultimate dash can’t be stopped. These are great changes; I hope she doesn't start showing up in my solo queue games again.
Anivia Had Her Wings Clipped - Froggen’s favorite champion is getting a swat with the nerf bat. Frostbite + Glacial Storm is the bird’s go-to way to trade and Riot feels it’s just too powerful. The damage on Frostbite no longer doubles unless the enemy is chilled by a fully formed Glacial Storm. To compensate, Frostbite has a one second lower cooldown and it only takes 1.5 seconds for Glacial Storm to fully form. Won’t be seeing her in the LCS any time soon.
Attack Damage Items Hurt A Lot More- Blade Of The Ruined King, Guinsoo’s Rageblade and Sterak’s Gage all got major buffs. BORK deals 8 percent of the target’s health as damage, GR got 25 percent more attack speed and Sterak’s Gage costs 100 gold less. Simple but efficient.
Jungle XP And Plants- Riot is holding off on doing any major changes to Summoner’s Rift’s plants until the players have more time to get used to the system. In the meantime, critical strikes and lifesteal no longer work on them. After changing the jungle quite drastically last patch, Riot is just fine tuning them this time around. Crimson Raptor gives 40 less XP and Lesser Krugs give 10 more.
The League Of Legends client is now finally in beta, so tell us what you think of the new system in the comments.
